Photo: FIONA GOODALL Santa will be shedding his whole- some image in a production show- ing his naughty side. The Eight Reindeer Monologues is being performed at the Howick Little Theatre tonight through until Friday at 8pm. Howick resident Imogen Pros- sor has taken the director's chair and a place on stage. Scandal has erupted at the North Pole when one of Santa's reindeer accused him of sexual harassment,'' the 19-year-old says. It's a very dark comedy and there are lots of musical and dance numbers.'' The former Senior College student has recruited the seven actors, aged from 17 to 19 from the college. The show will be enhanced with the help of a seven-piece band. It's my first time directing a play and I'm also producing it -- it's a lot to take on. I love the actual directing, I love helping people find their character.'' Imogen has utilised her many years in performing arts and teaching drama to make it hap- pen. She says it is suitable for people aged over 14. There's some quite risque themes but it's all good fun.'' You will find it very, very witty and clever and we've got an amazing bunch of singers and young actors.'' Ticket are $22, go to www.iticketexpress.co.nz.
