Te Tuhi Cafe in Pakuranga has been listed in this month s Metro Magazine top 50 cafes in Auckland in the best in sub- urb section for the fifth year running. The cafe was also named in the September issue of Taste magazine s Auckland s Great Cafe, Deli & Bar Guide. It was a real surprise, owner and manager Penny Peng says. It means a lot to me. It means people like and accept us, and that s what we are here for. She puts their success down to good quality food that is pre- pared and cooked from scratch every day and staff with a happy and friendly attitude. My staff are not just workers, they are all part of the business. The most important thing to us is customer satisfaction, making sure they are happy and that means good food and good service. Ms Peng says they have many regular customers who work nearby or visit the Te Tuhi art gallery. Te Tuhi Cafe is in the Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts, 13 Reeves Rd, Pakuranga.
